What to expect from a concussion?

I need help. I have a concussion for the first time. I don't think I lost consciousness. I didn't puke or anything, my pupils were fine, everything was fine. I had a headache later on the night that I hit my head. I felt a liiiittle bit slowed down and sensitive to light and sound. Ever since then all I have is this annoying pressure in my head. Its everywhere. I was evaluated by several doctors and all of them said I don't really need a cat scan judging by my symptoms. But this pressure in my head, it won't go away. Has anyone experienxed this? Can anyone tell me how long this will go on for? Its drivin me crazy. I'm kinda lightheaded too. All I do is stay in bed and can't watch tv or anything at all cuz it makes my head hurt. I'm so bored! And I don't know what to expect from this, can anyone relate or tell me something I can do to speed up the healing process...also..I am taking oxycodone. Not orally. Thru my nose. And am afraid this will make it worse. Any doctors in the house? My doctors didn't know too much about this but told me I should be fine..
